Content Guidelines

Respect

We will have users ranging from many different demographics and by no means would we want to offend anybody. So what we ask is for our users to use some common sense as to what is appropriate.

REELcomp will Review for Inappropriate Content

Be aware that you uploaded content could be excluded for the following:

1. Footage that is not within the realm of core board sports. Defined as Snowboarding, Skateboarding and Surfing.
1a. Footage must contain the activity of at least one of the following: Snowboarding, Skateboarding, Surfing.
2. Pornography and or sexually explicit content.
3. Dangerous, illegal or violent acts and or behavior. *
4. Hate speech, slurs or stereotypes.
5. The invasion of privacy or personal information.

REELcomp reserves the right to deny or delete any video.

* We understand that the core board sports are dangerous in nature but there is still a calculated risk. We by all means will not be excluding footage of riders going big because that is really what it is all about.

"Flagging" System

If a video were to slip past the REELcomp team we ask our users to flag the video as inappropriate to let us know of its existence. We will carefully review all videos that have been flagged to see if it violates our terms of use or content guidelines and make a decision on how to handle its existence. If one of your videos has been removed you can assume we removed it purposefully. If your video has been removed you should take the warning notification very seriously as we reserve the right terminate any account at any time for violating our content guidelines.

Respect Copyright Laws

Just keep in mind that there are a lot harsher punishments out there other than a deleted video or account. We are here to encourage all of your creativity not plagiarism. Please review www.reelcomp.com/copyright.
